Candy Cane Craft & Lesson

A Simple Christmas Gift That Tells the Story of Jesus

We believe it’s important to be intentional about teaching kids the true meaning of Christmas. With this simple craft and lesson, your kids will be able to give a meaningful gift to their friends this Christmas season that points directly to Jesus! Sure, all kids know what a candy cane is. But, what if they can use it to help share Jesus with others? Help them make these candy canes, then encourage them to use the gifts to share the story of Jesus’ birth and death with their friends.

Materials Needed: (for 1 candy cane)

  • A candy cane, for reference
  • 1 red pipe cleaner
